Is Sole A Good Elliptical Trainer Manufacturer?
One of the most crucial features to consider when purchasing an elliptical trainer is the warranty. The scope of warranty offered by a manufacturer goes a long way in helping one to assess the durability and quality of an equipment.
Sole Fitness, is a relatively new entrant in the field of elliptical trainer industry. They are out to position their product by providing one of the most widespread warranties ever offered by a competitor. Whereas parts and electronics are covered for 5 years, labor is provided for 2 years, except for the E25.
But, how come that warranty plays such a significant role while buying a fitness equipment!. At the outset it limits your liability in the event of a breakdown. Apart from the cost of expensive parts, you need to pay for the services of a skilled professional for replacing those parts. Second, you can’t ignore the fact that warranty certainly speaks volumes about the quality of equipment. And Sole Fitness is backed up 100%.
Come to think of it; isn’t warranty an extension of simple business sense?. It’s very simple to understand that a manufacturer of an elliptical trainer just can’t afford to offer a generous warranty if it were not too sure of its design and quality of materials used for manufacturing the same. On the other hand, if the machine is of questionable quality, it would be cost prohibitive to support it with a lengthy warranty. The company would go broke with service costs.
Why do you think cheap elliptical trainers come with a 90 day parts and labor warranty? . One definite reason is that the manufacturers are not too sure if the machine would work longer than that.
It’s not only a fabulous warranty offer, Sole Fitness manufactures elliptical trainers of very superior quality. I had a chance to test ride the machine and was overwhelmed by its smooth elliptical motion and it remained almost noiseless even under enhanced resistance.I also liked the 20” stride. Most of the similar machines offer a stride of 16 to 18 inches only. Working on machines with smaller strides limits your workout while the elliptical motion gets bouncy. While those with a height of six feet and above would certainly appreciate a longer stride, even those with average height will find it comfortable to have a stride of twenty inches. Not to mention short stride of Proform elliptical trainers.
It would be worthwhile to add here that Hilton chain continues to patronize these elliptical trainer as a part of their in-room fitness system. Now that reflects on the quality of the equipment! . Their elliptical trainers offer the same quality.
